In 1949, a time of new beginnings and economic reconstruction, the small but fine family business Heless was founded in Schwetzingen, which had one goal from the very beginning: to make children's eyes light up.
To achieve this, the 21-year-old company founder Helga Hess (later Helga Moll) placed the utmost importance on the high quality and durability of her toys.
She was the youngest exhibitor to present the first collection of doll's dummies, doll's rattles and doll's bottles at the first Nuremberg Toy Fair in 1950 - with incredible success.
Over the decades, not only did the product portfolio grow, but daughter Beate Becker and granddaughter Susanna Becker also joined the company - and Heless still presents an unrivalled range of doll accessories, doll clothing, teddies and soft dolls today.
And even though business and production processes have changed, digitalisation has arrived, new trends have come and gone, the most important thing at Heless has remained the same to this day: the high quality of the toys and the passion with which every single product is developed.
